This month I would like to highlight a few of the technicians in my area. They have been doing a great job so far this year and I am proud to have each and every one of them on my team. These guys are very hard working and dedicated to their job.
Below you will find three images of a few of the technicians that make up the great Atlanta East team. Thanks guys for all your hard work, let's continue to have a great year!
Picture 1
Techs Derrick Friday and Douglas Osorio do a great job servicing the Alpharetta GA Home Depot. This is a very demanding high volume store but these two techs do whatever they have to do to make sure the store is taken care of, including working late or into the weekend if necessary. I appreciate you guys! |

It's always a good thing when I show up to a store unannounced and the techs are working in the middle of the Isle not impeding customer access to product. Area Trainer Darrell Floyd does a great leading by example. Darrell is the kind of tech you want out here training people because he's always on time, even when servicing remote stores and will go above and beyond to take care of our customers. Thanks Darrel! |

This year is starting off well. I am hiring and training, hiring and training here in NC Coastal. All of our patio sets are done and we are building out the apron grills.
Things are cranking up outside The Home Depot, some of our other partners are starting to call on us for more jobs. Chris Cuatt and Jason Troutman have been knocking out grills, deck boxes, and patio sets at the Sam's Club in Fayetteville, NC. They also built these two Gazebos, great work guys! The other Sam's Club stores in my area are beginning to start up as well, and we are ready! We have also been getting business from several Rose's recently, which we are excited about.
I will continue to hire and train and get my teams ready to tackle this season.

Richard and myself would like to say thank you to recruiting for the resumes we have received. It is not easy to hire new technicians, but with the help of the recruiting department it definitely makes the process easier.
In other news, resets are going well at Home Depot. The new people that we are hiring and training are enjoying building patio furniture, BBQ grills, and anything else that we can get. We hope that everyone else is staffing up and looking forward to a very busy year.
Good luck everyone, have a great year!

Looks like spring time is here for store The Home Depot in Winston Salem, NC. The store was ready to get grills, lawn mowers, rocking chairs, etc. assembled and out on the floor and aprons. My techs are doing a wonderful job at getting this store ready, and others stocked, ready, and looking good. A special thanks to Chris Edwards and Heather Manning for their hard work!

South Carolina
Gearing up for Spring in South Carolina. We're expecting big drops, and Home Depot has asked that we have at least two man teams. The CAROLINA GANG will rise to the challenges facing us this season. Assemblers Inc. is growing fast and there are plenty of opportunities for techs who want to step up and accept more responsibility, travel and help with big out of area projects, cover stores, install Beaver Fits, etc.
Things are speeding up which means yes, we are hiring! (remember if you bring someone on and they stay 90 days a $50. Bonus will be added to your check) Make sure you give them your tech ID. and Name so that they can note who they were referred by on their application.
Trainers need to mentor newer techs for at least a year. Make sure to exchange phone numbers with them and check up on them often. We have all worked hard to build our area and we are TOP DAWGS Thanks for all y'all do , and remember IF YOU BUILD IT THEY WILL COME so build it all.

Spring is just around the corner and it is time for resets. The weather has been a little warmer than normal, is mother nature playing with us or will we have an early spring season? We have gone from an empty front apron and bays, to good looking resets, and of course, building of riders.

For my newsletter article this month I have decided to highlight one of my area trainers Jeremy McKenzie, who has shown great improvement since he was hired as a tech in May of 2016.
Jeremy interest and hobbies include cars, car meets, race tracks, family time (He has a wife and a daughter), attending church at Mountain Christian Church, and gaming but he only plays the Xbox.
He is a pretty easy going guy, usually laughing and joking, his friends call him Jay or Joker (he says that he is a Leo, and fits most of the characteristic traits of his zodiac sign). When I asked him who his favorite superhero is he said batman and that he dislikes Superman.
Jeremy is happy to be working at Assemblers Inc. an establishment that he feels is dedicated to its employees, offers room for career growth with promotions and hiring from within. A company that he believes has potential to grow exponentially. If he could change one thing, he would like to someday see salary plus commission offered to techs after a certain point of employment.
